ATTORNEY & FOUNDER
OF PROVIDER LEGAL

Matt Stevens

Matt’s first job out of law school was to be the in-house counsel for a specialty practice undergoing a multi-million dollar fraud investigation with criminal and civil penalties. After guiding that organization he went on to in-house positions in the alcohol and drug rehab space and large multi-clinic organizations.

Having seen how these organizations treat their providers, Matt created Provider Legal to advocate for employed health providers, small offices and solo practitioners. Matt intimately understands what they are up against and how important their role is in our health system.

Matt’s favourite compliment from clients is that he doesn’t seem like a lawyer, but a real person. He enjoys sci-fi movies, reading historical fiction and is an Australian gin aficionado.
